The ConveyLinx-Ai2 48V controller unlocks a wide range of applications, from zero-pressure accumulation conveyor systems to complex servo drives. This versatile control unit enables an unprecedented variety of conveyor applications in an extremely compact space. With just one type of controller, every type of movement in conveyor technology can be efficiently managed.
For simpler systems, the zero-pressure accumulation technology can be controlled autonomously using the integrated logic, completely eliminating the need for a PLC. However, if a higher-level controller is required, a PLC can be connected via ProfiNet to intervene in the conveyor process when necessary. For more complex systems, the entire setup can be controlled directly from the TIA Portal or STEP7, with the PLC managing all ConveyLinx-Ai2 48V units through topology.
Despite the PLC integration, the internal logic of the ConveyLinx-Ai2 48V can still be utilized, reducing the load on the PLC’s source code. Additionally, the system offers extensive diagnostic tools for the connected drives, enabling cost-effective and targeted system maintenance, significantly reducing unplanned downtimes.
